I'm happy to inform you that we are jumping into a gorgeous new retail space here in the central city, Nelson.
Nook Design store is brimming with stylish home ware, art prints, accessories and jewellery. Nook has a definite Scandinavian palette with loads of white, charcoal, blush and some mint thrown in. There is a wonderful overlay of textures: natural woods, chunky knits, copper, leather, and our blonde plywood. Yum!
You can see our plywood cubes and have a play with your choice of design and colour on one of the sliding lids. You can mix & match and change them out according to decor. You can decide whether you need one or two beside the bed, in the children's room or the living space or hallway to store all those extra hats, shoes, books, bags... !

These cubes are super-handy almost anywhere in the house. We have a couple stacked bed-side for books, magazines, and a cup of tea and stash devices and charging cords inside to keep things looking clean. If you want to display smaller items or keep them out of reach of little fingers, try our wall-mounted shadow boxes.

Sarah and Caroline have a swoon-worthy array of art and design goodies in store, not to mention superb coffee! The artfully-edited range of local and NZ-made pieces, plus a few covetable items from overseas make it a very fine destination. We are pleased to be in such good company!

We've made it! A new range of linen cushions and tea towels, paper and ply prints are all available now on the site. We love the natural, light, Scandinavian look of the collection and the textural products we have added to our range. The new collection entitled 'Ink Fables' is inspired by children adventuring in the woods - imaginary games, dress-ups, cowboys & indians, maybe even the odd pixie hiding amongst the toadstools...
Our ply, linen and Kraft paper print are all hand-pulled screen prints, made with love by Georgie at home.

We appreciate Mr (anything but) Slack for his keen eye and attention to detail, his thoughtful problem solving and his great knowledge of his craft and materials.
