What a fantastic evening for the launch of my pop-up show at Wilson & Dorset last week. Thank you to those who attended! The response to my work has been absolutely wonderful. 

A huge thank you to Ju at Studio Home for whipping together this show with her amazing enthusiasm, style and talent. And to Amanda and the team at Wilson & Dorset in Wanaka for offering up their stunning space to showcase my paintings. It has been a fantastic show.

Now it’s a short break from painting, a quick trip to Argentina and then back into the studio, full of inspiration and energy to restock the the website with new artworks! Phew.

And now that we are Mothers of our own wonderful, naughty broods - oh how we appreciate all that you did! Truly. Your patience, humour, encouragement, compassion, selfless energy and lots of love.

Hello hello from the studio,

Just letting you know that the Moody Blues collection is nearly complete and we are looking forward to sharing it with you!

Moody Blues will be an artist series, that is, one-off artworks by Georgie, each completely original. These are expressive abstract pieces that have weather as the thematic link. Think stormy skies and broody seas... Balanced with some blue skies and reflective reflections.

The go-ahead people at The Bridge Street Collective have put together a fantastic pre-Christmas pop-up store in their cafe. They have a great selection of local designer goodies. Jewellery, artworks, environmentally-friendly textile bags and wraps from The Green Collective and Empire Eco Designs; and of course the Belle Hawk stable of plywood storage - shadow boxes, bedside cubes; paper prints and linen tea towels.

Hi Everyone,

We are happy happy happy to announce that you can now find our Belle Hawk products in our first physical retail store. Ta daaa!

So if you would like to see our linens and our ply boxes in the 'flesh', call in to RED Gallery & Design Store in Nelson. Sarah and Caroline have a swoon-worthy array of art and design goodies in store, not to mention superb coffee! The artfully-edited range of local and NZ-made pieces, plus a few covetable items from overseas make it a very fine destination. We are pleased to be in such good company!

Finally over the line - paper and linen! May 30 2015, 0 Comments

We've made it! A new range of linen cushions and tea towels, paper and ply prints are all available now on the site. We love the natural, light, Scandinavian look of the collection and the textural products we have added to our range. The new collection entitled 'Ink Fables' is inspired by children adventuring in the woods - imaginary games, dress-ups, cowboys & indians, maybe even the odd pixie hiding amongst the toadstools...

Our ply, linen and Kraft paper print are all hand-pulled screen prints, made with love by Georgie at home.
